Our Story

Hetal Sheth is the founder of Curry n Pepper and a small animal holistic wellness practitioner certified in canine and feline nutrition and natural therapies, including herbs, flower remedies, essential oils, and plant stem cell therapies.

Some journeys begin in unexpected places. For Hetal Sheth, it started in the fast-paced world of Silicon Valley, where she built her career in technology. But while her professional life was thriving, her heart kept pulling her in another direction, the world of animals. A lifelong pet parent, Hetal felt a deep connection with her own dogs and began to see them not just as companions, but as sentient beings with emotions, needs, and even a spiritual path of their own.

That realization changed everything. Driven by the belief that animals deserve to be treated as whole beings, mind, body, and spirit, Hetal left behind her tech career to follow a calling: to create a more compassionate way of caring for pets. In 2014, she founded Curry n Pepper in California, a pioneering vegan pet food and lifestyle company built on the timeless principles of Ayurveda.

Her journey didn’t stop there. After years of raising her own dogs on a plant-based lifestyle, Hetal moved to India with a mission to empower and educate more pet parents on how to nurture their companions through holistic, plant-powered care. Through www.currynpepper.com, she has been building a growing community of pet lovers who believe in prevention over cure and the healing power of nature.

Hetal’s expertise lies in whole food plant-based diets for dogs, along with natural healing therapies such as herbs, flower remedies, essential oils, and plant stem cells. Her hands-on experience began while volunteering at a veterinary hospital in San Francisco and continues to grow as she trains in clinical diagnosis and treatment of small animals. She lives by a simple but profound belief: there is a plant for every illness.

Along the way, her work has been featured in leading platforms from Modern Dog in the USA and Pet Connection in Canada, to Vegan First and Petzcare Magazine in India. Beyond her practice, Hetal also supports animal shelters and rescuers, helping shift the dogs in their care to compassionate plant-based diets. She is also a speaker, and her talks are featured on Plant Powered Dog USA, Just Be Kind UK, North Star by Vegan First, AFAD Vietnam, YVCare, etc.

Today, Hetal’s story is one of transformation of leaving behind a world of machines to serve a world of beings with wagging tails and beating hearts. Through Curry n Pepper, she continues her mission to create healthier, happier dogs by bringing together the wisdom of Ayurveda and the love of plants.
